All ECRS reports may be
published to the web for subsequent reference.
Reports are published in Adobe’s PDF file format.
The use of PDF files makes paperless reporting and distribution
effortless.
Report
data may be easily imported into Excel.
The end user can then customize reports by selecting how the
report columns are displayed and how the contents are grouped and
sorted. This allows casual
users to view information in the manner most meaningful to them.
Since
the detailed cost transactions are processed and retained in ECRS,
reporting on detail and summary level is available. Reports can be by
user, by device (i.e. type of cost transaction), or by matter. Options
include the ability to select posted, or unposted types of transactions,
as well as the ability to select by one or more types (i.e. as
photocopy, fax, etc). Detailed lists of this nature are particularly
useful when the firm is required to submit cost justifications to
clients or to the court.
